The Amos Alonzo Stagg Performing Arts Center is available for rental during the months September thru May.  There are three different price brackets depending on whether you are For-Profit, Non-For- Profit, and whether you are a District 230 organization.  We do our best to accommodate as many outside groups as possible.  The following are the stage specifications for the theater.  If you have further inquiries about renting the Center or about pricing and availablity, email Rental@staggpac.org and the P.A.C. Manager will contact you shortly.

The Performing Arts Center is a proscenium house that seats 492 people, with an additional twenty seats available.  The theater is fully handicap accessible There is no balcony.

The proscenium opening is 50’.  The floor to the top of the proscenium is 22’, with main teaser being set at 18’ trim roughly.  From the plaster line to the back cyc (white), there is approx 35’.  There is 4 feet of stage and an apron in front of the plaster line.

There are three sets of legs, one of them being the mid-stage traveler, as well as a backstage black traveler, and a maroon velvet main traveling drape.  They come onto the stage about 2 feet on each side, making the actual proscenium opening around 46’.

Because of the leg placement, there are four stage entrances on each side at roughly the same distance apart.

The wings on either side of the theater are about 8’-10".  SL there is a stage managers console where house lights can be controlled.  SR is a stage snake with 16 channels, as well as tie lines to the booth.

We have 5 electrics, the furthest upstage electric being the cyc electric.  The first is 4’-6” US of the plaster line.  The second is 10’-8” US of the plaster line.  The third is 19’-4” US of the plaster line.  The fourth is 27’-4” US of the plaster line.  The CYC electric is 30’ US of the plaster line which is 5’ DS of the white cyc.  Each electric has at least 18 open circuits on them.

There are two catwalks that have many open circuits over the house.  There are also two box booms with 12 open circuits.

We also have 3 balcony rails with 4 open circuits on each. One house right, one house left, and one front of house.

A full lighting and sound inventory of equipment can be produced upon request.

There is an orchestra pit in front of the stage that has removable pit covers and a pit net for safety.  There is an additional 16 microphone inputs as well as tie lines to the booth in a wall panel on the upstage wall.

Backstage, there are two dressing rooms, each equipped with separate bathrooms and sinks, and enough makeup tables to comfortably hold twelve people each.  Each dressing room is linked with Clear-Com intercom to be able to monitor the happening on stage and in the sound booth.

Loading in and out is also easy at the P.A.C.  There are two large garage doors to come through and a shop that can be used as a holding area for props and scenery.  Most items with a base of 8’ X 6’ and a height of 10’ should be able to fit into the theater without a problem.  The P.A.C. Manager can give you more specifics if there are questionable items.
